Position Description: Imagine One Technology & Management is currently seeking an Information Technology (IT) Analyst “contingent” upon award of the associated work to the Imagine One Team. This position supports the US Navy in Norfolk, Virginia. 
Experience Requirements:   
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience required.
  • In depth knowledge of NGEN/NMCI networks and their installation as it pertains to NNSY. Knowledge and experience with installing network equipment, hardware, and software including, but not limited to: switches, routers, etc., and the cabinets and infrastructure to support these devices.
  • Knowledge and experience of networks, their configurations, asset locations, and their interconnectivity/co-existence with NGEN/NMCI networks.
  • Develop, design, document, maintain, evaluate, support and provide problem resolution for computer and IT systems applications; performs a variety of technical and analytical services across the systems development lifecycle to include IT Portfolio Management.
  • Five (5) years’ experience with the maintenance or development of software/database programs/applications or demonstrated ability in installation, set-up and operation of computer systems applicable to networks.
  • Supports assessments of organization's challenges using specialized skills and knowledge.
  • Contributes to the execution of project or task plan and helps assess the impact of industry trends, policy or standard methodologies.
  • Conducts activities in support of the project team's objectives.
  • Trained and qualified to operate aerial work platforms and scissor lifts that are necessary for the repair and installation of cabling and or conduit.
  • Knowledge and ability to provide on-going application training to service desk support staff to assure a high level of skill, ability, and operational knowledge.
  • Knowledge and ability to identify opportunities and or need for change which can facilitate a smoother user interaction.
  • Understanding of mission-critical nature of the applications and the users’ need for mission-critical support of these tools.
  • Knowledge to operate software applications which support service desk operations (e.g. caller ticket documentation application).
  • Knowledge and proficiency to work with the following test equipment to include but not limited to:
    • Fluke Fiber Test/Certifications Kits
    • DTX Cable Analyzer Series
    • Agilent Pro Fiber Test/Certification Kits
    • Noyes OTDR Fiber Test/Certification Kits
    • Fluke CAT5e/6 Test/Certification Kits
Educational Requirements:  
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Candidates without a bachelor’s degree may substitute this requirement with an additional four (4) years of experience relevant to the requirements above.
Security Requirements:   
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Top Secret Clearance (DoD)
