Imagine One Technology & Management is currently seeking a Systems Engineering Task Manager “CONTINGENT” on award of the associated work to the Imagine One Team. This position supports the US Navy in Washington, D.C. 
The Systems Engineering Task Manager will oversee a team providing the following support:
  • Provide recommended Systems Engineering Processes development and implementation support across all Product Lines and Technical Reviews. 
  • Develop, provide and maintain the Systems Engineering Plans (SEP), in accordance with DoD 5000.2, for all products. 
  • Evaluate Systems Engineering processes and recommend process improvements to establish common, standard System Engineering processes across PEO IWS 6.0.
  • Assist in conducting systems engineering boards and system engineering technical reviews.
  • Assist with systems engineering interoperability efforts and baseline development.
  • Assist in project tracking, including identifications, analysis, resolution of program design and engineering integration issues.
  • Assist with systems engineering activities for shipboard/submarine/airborne/land systems, including demonstration, testing and fielding.
  • Provide technical assistance to support systems engineering studies impacting integration with shipboard/submarine/airborne/land systems.
  • Provide technical support for evolving Science and Technology (S&T) projects into advanced technology development to include supporting engineering in experimentation venues, e.g. USN Trident Warrior Series, and US Pacific Command’s Northern Edge, and OSD’s Black Dart Series. 
  • Provide engineering and technical expertise to review and resolve issues associated with Foreign Military Sales (FMS)/International inquiries. 
  • Coordinate inputs from outside Commands for the following: Command, Control Communications, Computers and Intelligence Support Plan (C4ISP) (now called (ISP)) revisions through Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) and Navy Center for Tactical Systems Interoperability (NCTSI) Test Command, coordinating Information Exchange Requirements (IER) and Critical Key Performance Parameters (KPP) through JITC/NCTSI, including Technical Authority, Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) processes/documentation. 
  • Assist in the management of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) effort which includes: development of accreditation plans, assessment of M&S needs based on program and users’ needs; and development of the master M&S plan.
  • Assist in development of technical agreements and white papers that support future science and technology efforts. 
  • Assist in development of science and technology roadmaps.
  • Assist in development and coordination of hardware and production for all IWS 6.0 systems, sub-systems, components, backfits, INCOs, and spares.
  • Develop, provide, and maintain the RAM (Reliability, Availability and Maintainability) and RAM and Cost Rationale Report (RAM-C) Plans in accordance with DoDI 5000.02, for all products.
Experience Requirements:   
  • Minimum 15 years of experience with DoD System Engineering acquisition processes, in DoD/Navy program management, Industry or Government Technical Management, or Industry or Government business management.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering.

Educational Requirements:  
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
