Imagine One Technology & Management, Ltd., is excited to invite you to join our team supporting an awarded tasking for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic), Tactical Service-Oriented Architecture (TSOA) Integrated Product Team (IPT) and its systems in the following functional areas:  
 
  • Requirements Management;
  • Documentation and Technical Writing;
  • Configuration Management; and, 
  • Test and Evaluation. 
 
This position provides a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to lead and provide immediate direction to the TSOA IPT.  Work will be performed in Charleston, South Carolina. The successful candidate must hit the ground running in meeting the following experience requirements for position of BUILD MANAGER:

Experience Requirements:
 
  • Three (3) years or more experience in MC2S to include: Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements. 
  • Three (3) years of technical experience in support of Marine Corps Tactical Data systems such as COC, JTCW, GCCS-TCO, AFATDS, CPOF, or other relevant tactical systems. 
 
Roles and Responsibilities:
 
  • Coordinate with CM the release windows and cycles across TSOA portfolio to negotiate, plan and manage all release activities
  • Measure and monitor progress to ensure code check-in meets release timeline
  • Verify code commits in repository against valid artifact
  • Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates
  • Produce and maintain a build management process as a part of Configuration Management for the IPT
  • Communicate release details and schedules to the IPT Leadership as required
  • Work with lead system engineer to understand impacts of branches and code merges
  •  Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
  • Work with CM in the execution of the deployment Plans, the software delivery guide and appropriate checklists
  • Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms
  • Participate in CM Working Group meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks
  • Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists
  • Researches new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies and analyzes their application to current configuration management needs


Qualifications:
 
  • Background in Computer Science or Configuration Management
  • Previous release and/or build management experience
  • Solid understanding of project management principles preferred
  • Experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development to include windows and Linux
  • Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion


Education Requirements:
 
  • Development Professional (CSDP) (Previously known as Certified Software Engineering Professional (CSEP)), or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), other).


Education Requirements:
  • Required: Bachelor of Science degree. Desired: BS in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, mathematics, or systems engineering.
 
 Security Requirements:  
  • Contractor personnel assigned to this contract shall possess SECRET security clearance prior to contract performance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required
