Position Description:  Imagine One (Lexington Park region) is currently seeking a Senior Program Analyst to perform critical program management, technical, or business analysis of major DoD acquisition systems and provide recommendations to ensure program success.  Individual will provide program analysis support for all aspects of the program, participate as a member of and/or support the overall Program and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and will collect, complete, organize and interpret technical data and financial information relating to aircraft acquisition and product programs.  Individual will also track program/project status and schedules and apply policies and procedures for financial planning.  Familiarity with NAVAIR Organization is a must and candidate should have demonstrated performance directly supporting an Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL).  Specific responsibilities will include:

Principal Duties:
  • Provide Acquisition Management, Life Cycle Sustainment Management, and Business Financial Management support services.
  • Manage strategic planning/execution activities for the Integrated Product Team Lead by developing appropriate Integrated Master Plans and subsequent Integrated Master Schedules in order to effectively and efficiently monitor Program technical, schedule, and cost status.
  • Provide continuous system life-cycle cost analysis and provided cost-effective solutions to lower Total Ownership Cost and minimize Program risk. 
  • Develop annual Program Objectives Memorandum inputs for submission to the Office of the Chief of Naval operations, specifically the Director, Fleet Readiness and the Director, Air Warfare.
  • Provide impact statements, as/where appropriate, to all official budget marks.
  • Assure program planning aligns with Service level, Department level, and Congressional guidance and/or directives.
Experience Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in program management, technical, or business analysis discipline, related to weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management; and a minimum of six (6) years out of 10 years of recent work experience related to analysis and planning. Familiarity with SECNAV, OPNAV, and OSD forms related to PPBS, Military Interdepartmental Procurement Requests, Work Requests, Requisitions, Contract Data Requirements List, and DD254 is required. Demonstrated experience in the program/project status, earned value management and schedules.
  • Experience with MS Project, SharePoint and NAVAIR’s Procurement Management Tool (PMT).
 Educational Requirements:
  • Master’s Degree in a business, management or technical discipline.
  • A Bachelor’s degree and an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for Master’s Degree.
  • An Associate’s Degree and four (4) years of experience or an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
Security Requirements:
  • Must have an active DoD SECRET Security Clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required
