Imagine One Technology & Management is currently seeking a Data Scientist “contingent” on award of the associated work to the Imagine One Team. This position supports the U.S. Navy in Lexington Park, Maryland. 
  
The Data Scientist develops analytics methods and processes; identifies appropriate methods and tools to extract knowledge from data; leverages large volumes of data to answer challenges; prepares data for use in predictive and prescriptive modeling (data cleansing); automates organizational work through scripts for data processing and analytics; develops and applies algorithms and machine learning methods; applies analytic methods and software tools to design and develop analytic programs; and performs mathematical modeling. 
  
 

Security Requirements:  

• Candidates must have U.S. Citizenship.

• Candidates must have an ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance (or higher). 

Experience Requirements: 

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience carrying out duties similar to the functions above. 

   
 Educational Requirements:   

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university 

• Candidates who do not possess a bachelor's degree can still qualify with one of the following: 

  •  Six (6) years of additional experience, for a total of 16 years of experience, OR 
  • Associate degree plus four (4) years of additional experience, for a total of 14 years of experience
